Karen has been in the technology field for over 25 years. She started her career in a large corporation where she managed a number of different technology teams; her favorite was leading the organization in starting an internal help desk for technology support. She eventually realized that she wanted to be working with organizations that were making a difference so she joined the nonprofit world. She started in the world of fundraising and then became the Executive Director of a local nonprofit. When the organization went through a merger with 4 other organizations to form a national nonprofit, she was ready to move out fundraising and ready to step back into technology. They desperately needed a organization-wide solution to manage their donors and programs. Thus began Karen’s love affair with Salesforce. After converting her organization to Salesforce and leading user adoption and enhancements for 4 years, she joined the Bigger Boat team. Now she gets to work with a variety of organizations that are making a difference in many ways.
